[02 Jul 2008|12:44am] thegreenlights the last few days consisted of: + schaumpton, fuego, broken rear views, roommate bonding + work, banana republic, looking at the bike i want + john mayer screening with carly -- "there is nothing more important to be doing on a friday night, grrl" + johnny rockets for the very first time, amazing brownie sundae + left handed ice cream socials and debate over left handed discrimination + cal: i am at the show, i thought you would be in front row ;) + boozing on the street becoming a new tradition + chicago, parade, taste, running in the rain, huddling under two umbrellas + tanya and i always getting into trouble + emily's new apartment on clark, noodles + wondering why the hell i'm not just living in chicago the next few days and weeks consist of: + work, orientations + wanted + summerfest + chicago, bbqs, fireworks, drinks + lakehouse boozing + purchasing new old bike + mebbe posting some pictures? someone remind me to use my rebel more often! 3 comments|post comment

bike ride [30 Jun 2008|11:40pm] dudah i rode my bike tonight. i tracked it using a program for my phone with my bluetooth gps receiver. i then exported it as a google earth file. google lets me upload my google earth files to my igoogle account and plugs them into google maps automatically. awesome. check it out View Larger Map 1 comment|post comment

tattoo. [30 Jun 2008|11:08pm] dudah so i'm getting a tattoo within the next couple weeks. i was thinking the image below, plus some lyrics under the skyline (the embers never fade in my city by the lake, smashing pumpkins - tonight tonight) basically the skyline drawn as one black straight line. i also saw this image on BME a while back and was thinking of something along the same lines, not as ripped up, and with the same lyrics. i'm torn between the two, please leave a comment with what you like better. i'm also looking for good tattoo artists/studios in chicago if you have any recommendations. thanks! ps - in case you didn't know, i'm done with school and living in chicago (lakeview), let's hang out. 4 comments|post comment

[28 Jun 2008|11:47pm] thegreenlights so i have been on craigslist bike shopping since ive telling myself (for months now!) that i want a bike to ride in the summer/ in the city/ in bike club with carly haha. i saw these two beauties: this first one is $160 it is a 12 speed and has a new squishy bike seat and new tires and tubes! this second one is $140 it is a 10 speed and ad says the tires are in good shape and lookswise is beautiful. what do i do! aside from that, tomorrow is gay parade on the northside, and then taste of chicago! come play! 5 comments|post comment
